1. Controller
The controller responsible for data processing is: UTRANET GbR Kleine Schmidtgasse 1 63571 Gelnhausen Germany Email: billing@utra.network
No separate data protection officer has been appointed. Please send privacy requests to the email address above.
2. General information on processing
We process personal data only to the extent necessary to provide a functional website, our content and services, and to carry out pre-contractual or contractual measures, or where consent or another legal basis applies.
Legal bases include in particular Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract/pre-contractual steps), Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR (legal obligation), Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interests) and – where obtained – Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent).
3. Website hosting and server log files
The website is operated on UTRANET GbR’s own infrastructure within our own network. When the website is accessed, our systems automatically process technical access data (server log files). This may include in particular:
- IP address
- date and time of the request
- requested resource / URL
- HTTP status code
- amount of data transferred
- referrer URL
- browser and operating system information (user agent)
Processing is carried out to deliver the website, ensure system security and stability, and analyse abuse or errors. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Data are stored only as long as necessary for these purposes and to comply with legal obligations; thereafter they are deleted or anonymised.
4. Cookies and tracking
This marketing website does not use cookies for analytics, advertising or tracking purposes. No third-party analytics or advertising services (such as Google Analytics or Meta Pixel) are embedded.
Technically necessary processing is limited to operating the website and the server log files described in section 3. A cookie consent banner for optional tracking cookies is therefore not currently required. If we introduce optional cookies or similar technologies in future, we will inform you in advance and obtain consent where required.
5. Contact form and email
If you contact us via the contact form or by email, we process the data you provide in order to handle your enquiry and any follow-up questions. Mandatory form fields include in particular the requested service, name, email address, message and confirmation that you have taken note of this privacy information. A company name may be provided optionally.
Form submissions are delivered via our own PHP mail interface to billing@utra.network. No external form or CRM services are used for website contact. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) and/or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Data are stored for as long as necessary to process and document the enquiry and to comply with statutory retention obligations.
6. Customer accounts, panels and ordering
Depending on the product, different customer, management or billing panels may be used. The privacy notices applicable there are provided in the respective panel or ordering process and apply in addition to the processing carried out in those systems.
7. Hosting services and processing on behalf
Where we store or otherwise process personal data on behalf of our customers in the course of web, game or cloud server services, we act as a processor under Art. 28 GDPR. The customer remains the controller of the personal data processed by or for the customer.
In these cases we conclude a data processing agreement (DPA) with the customer. Scope, content and instructions follow from the DPA and the relevant service scope.
8. Payment service providers
Payments for our services are made on a prepaid basis. Depending on the payment method selected in the ordering process, payment may be handled by the selected payment service provider. Data required for payment are transmitted to that provider.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. The payment service provider is responsible for its own processing or acts under its contractual terms. Transfers to third countries may occur where the selected provider so provides; in that case the safeguards used by the provider apply (for example an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses). Please refer to the privacy information of the relevant payment service provider in the ordering process.
9. Recipients and third-country transfers
Personal data are disclosed within UTRANET GbR only to persons who need them to perform their tasks. External recipients include in particular the selected payment service provider and, where legally required, public authorities.
Transfers to third countries outside the EEA are made by us only where necessary for contract performance (in particular via the selected payment service provider) and where appropriate safeguards under Art. 44 et seq. GDPR exist or a statutory exception applies.
10. Retention
We store personal data only as long as necessary for the respective purposes or as required by statutory retention obligations (in particular commercial and tax law). Thereafter the data are deleted or processing is restricted.
11. Your rights
To the extent provided by law, you have the following rights in particular:
- access (Art. 15 GDPR)
- rectification (Art. 16 GDPR)
- erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
- restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
- data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
- objection to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR)
- withdrawal of consent with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR)
To exercise your rights, an informal message to billing@utra.network is sufficient. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of your habitual residence or of our establishment. For us, the supervisory authority of the German federal state of Hesse is regularly competent.
12. Obligation to provide data and security
Providing certain data is necessary to conclude and perform contracts. Without these data, enquiries or orders may not be processed.
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. Absolute security of data transmissions over the internet cannot be guaranteed.
13. Changes
We may update this privacy policy where required by changes in law, new services or changed processing operations. The version published on this page applies.
